Hi Fainardi83

I'm not sure how to align the floppy drive.

I would instead try to clean the floppy drive first before attempting to align the drive.

Maybe you should also consider a more reliable up to date drive solution.

I bought a floppy emulator from Lotharek which work very well.

Hi Fairnardi83

Yes it is easy to make the floppy emulator work. You need to buy a floppy connector converter and another data cable.

It is more of a hassle to attach the emulator to the E1. You have to make a custom plate to fit the floppy emulator in the E1. I removed the original floppy holder on top of the E1. This gives easy access to the floppy emulator.

Another step is to convert your floppy discs to .hfe files on the SD Card. I haven't had the need to do this step as I have preprogrammed E1 .hfe files to use.

Fairnardi83, if you need futher details just let me know. You should also be able to find my mailadress on these pages. Feel free to mail me with questions.

Best regards

Brian
