Title: EIII Rack Repair in SF Bay Area?
Post by: David W on May 26, 2017, 09:47:38 AM
Hi All -

Does anyone know of a repair shop in the SF bay area that can help me fix my EIII Rack?
I need a new internal HD (preferable flash drive) and an OS v2.42 floppy disk.

Thanks for any replies,
David Willenbrink

Just buy a sd2scsi drive I can send you an boot image with the EIII OS.

Hi Wolfram -

Thanks for your reply! I just ordered a scsi2sd drive and it is on the way. I also checked out the thread: "Troubleshooting SCSI2SD" for more info.

I tried previously to download the EIII OS boot image but I no longer have access to a floppy drive on my Mac to create the bootable image. Do you know where I can get a physical floppy with OS v2.42 on it?

Thanks,
David

Hello David,

the sd2scsi drive was plug and play. I had problems with some other drives but the sd2scsi works fine.
I can send you an image for the SD card.
Write me a PM with you email addresss.
