Title: fake EII ?
Post by: Syncla on September 01, 2017, 09:01:45 AM
On a german site i found an ad for an EII from a few months ago. Contacted the seller and get the info, she´s living in burnley now. EII is not sold, can be shipped.

The price is good for me, but shipping from UK to germany included for 1000,00€ is that real?

Serial Number of the beast is 256.

Does anyone of you know this machine or is near Burnley and can test this machine? Wouldn´t dunk 1000,00€.

Can't really help you, but that one looks really good! Plus it's an 'old' model with the PSU on the right. Nice!

older model so most likely no Sound Designer RS-422 compatibility. I did a quick image search and nothing immediately jumped out at being red flaggy.. but as always.. be careful!!!

Well - what IS the market price for an EII?

I paid my EII+ 2000€. Shipped. Had a hard time finding it for that price and fully working (cometically great too)

The guy sold it just because he was moving to Los Angeles from Europe otherwise he would have never taken such a decision he told me.

Now prices are even higher. I can consider myself "lucky".

Let's say that an average price is nowadays between 1800 and 2300€.

Reason is few machines sound like it.
