Title: OT: SP-1200 OS Image
Post by: who on October 14, 2017, 08:11:29 AM
Hi All,

Sorry for posting this in the EII forum.  I finally got around to installing an HxC in my SP-1200 and decided to see how far I can get creating custom sample disk images.  Does anyone know what the native SP-1200 OS image extension is?

Thanks!

I can give you an bootable HXC file if you want.

Hi Wolfram,

Thank you very much for your offer to help!  What I'm after is the OS file you have to place in the same directory when you create an HFE file.  For example, with the EII, I use a .EMUIIFD file.  With the Emax I, I use a .EMX file.  I assume I have to do the same for the SP-1200.

For the record, I know EMXP only supports the SP-12, but I want to see how far SP-12 support gets me with the SP-1200.  In other words, it would be great to take an SF2 file, convert it to .sp12, then HFE and load it in the SP-1200.

How do you convert an .sp12 file (Bank) to an .sp1200fd (image)?
