Title: Emulator I Boot PROM binaries ?
Post by: esynthesist on October 30, 2010, 11:43:42 AM
Anyone knows where the Boot ROM binary can be found ?
Or has anyone created such an image file from his/her Emulator I ?

On the EII Yahoo Group there's a file already for the 4-Voice Emulator I.
But most Emulator I are 8-Voice I guess... Well at least mine is...  ;)

Not that I need one now, but I want to be sure that it's available for the unfortunate moment that my EI's Boot ROM would fail...

(I could try to make a copy of mine of course, but it's a tricky job, so I'm hoping anyone else already took the risk)

Yes I have.
They could be found on the EmulatorOne Yahoo group.
Both a 4 Voice and some 8 Voice binaries can be found in the files section. It doesn't really matter which 8 voice file you download, they are simply taken from different Emulators (i.e. the boot rom ID in the binary is different, but that's not a real problem... and it can be changed based on the instructions that can be found on the www.emxp.net site).

BTW: it seems a new binary has been uploaded in that files section recently, it's called "emui_wildcard". I have no idea what kind of prom that is...
