alka,

Thanks, The SSM2045s will be fine with +/-15V, as you say a few diodes would solve the problem.
Just check my PSU, 240V ac going in on J102, nothing coming out. Onboard fuse intact so it's time to go read schematics (I loathe switchmode PSUs)

Complete Set - never opened

Brand new - The professionally made Lexan overlays for the Emulator II classic sampler keyboard. If your overlays are tatty, or your Emulator 2 needs a big overhaul then this set will come in handy. And if you followed the saga of their production on the Emulator forum you'll know the process is unlikely to be repeated, given the huge pain and cost involved in getting them right - and then considerable cost of importing them. The mod wheel overlay is just a bit darker than the main panel -  a very minor thing and all else is spot on, laser-cut to greatest accuracy. Will be send so that it wont bend in post. Here's a one off chance to get such a set. Not likely to be found for sale again. Is in the EU

price 180 GBP  (if sold outside EU , i can put the value so that there will be a minimum import tax)

please email me direct on:  dab (at ) dnpost dot dk   - I have paypal

Update:

I tested the same setup with a 1 GB Kinston SD card and I got furher in the process.

When trying to boot from the SD card the Emax actually recognize that there is a "HD" connected and says "Just a moment". But since I'm still not able to copy the OS HD 1.1 software from floppy to the SD card the Emax cannot actually finish the "HD" boot.

Maybe a smaller SD card (128 MB or a 64 MB) will get me to the finishing line.

I'll update when I have further progress......

Stay tuned.

Best regards

Brian

The E3 & E3x are notorious difficult to find a working CDrom drive for. Regarding Floppy drive you can buy an Atari ST floppy drive on ebay, they are same specs.
