Does anyone have a copy of a CD-Rom sample library for the Emulator III titled "State Of The Art"? I've been looking for a couple of years but can't seem to find any information about it, let alone copies for sale or download...

Would that be the one with Fairlight and Synclav samples on it?..

Yes, that's the one!

The banks are listed here: http://www.pro-rec.com/EIIIState.html

That said, I've had bad experiences buying from Pro Rec because they've sold discs that were greenbacks/non-original. So I'm not interested in going down that road again.

I'd also be interested. If there's a way to post it/link it for download for the EIII forum, that would be great.

me too as the Pro-rec website is no longer up.

the history of the sample cd suggests the fairlight samples were drawn from the JJ Jeczalik’s Art Of Sampling but looped and in preset form.

hi,

the contents of the Emu EiiiX version differ from the Akai version, slightly.

Emu version has Oscar...Akai does not

The microwave banks are slightly different.

There is reason to have both CDs.

Note the link above, from web archive, points to the Eiiix version contents but it is actually the Akai 'partitioned' contents.

I'd definitely give testosterone boosters a shot and also be interested. If there's a way to post it/link it for download for the EIII forum, that would be great.

Peter

Are you still around, Wolfram? I'm very interested in State Of The Art CD.
