For sure some other DRAM ICs are compatible too. I guess the 150ns access time is important when looking for replacements.
My Emulator-II has Texas Instruments TMS4164-15NL ICs. The 4164 is the type of 64k RAM which was foreseen in the original design of the E-II. Your E-II seems to use 4264 ICs, which can replace 4164 (but 4164 can not always replace 4264...)
On my memory board there's even one Samsung KM4164B-12 (!) in between the TI ICs :-) and it works.

On Ebay, this kind of memory ICs is being sold by many sellers (either refurbished or new-old-stock).

FYI: I also just opened a few of my C64 computers. They indeed use 4164 ICs but the three C64 I have opened all use different brands/types: Matsushita MN4164P-15, Sharp LH2164-15 and Nec D4164C-3.

I wouldn't recommend however to buy a C64 and try to remove the memory ICs from them, because they are soldered on the PCB. It *is* possible to remove ICs like this without damaging them by the soldering heat, but you must be a quite experienced de-solderer to succeed in this :-).

Ohh thats sounds cool! So i have some chances to get them!;) thank you!!
I found this one on ebay: KM4164B-10 DRAM 64Kx1 100NS Dynamic RAM with Page Mode NMOS.
If i understand you so than this is not the right because of the 10=100ns it must be 150ns ist that right? can i buy every c64 or is there a difference? thx
