what format are these. windows 7 wont open anything on these discs. anyone know ? .

Hi,

E-mu uses a proprietary format, you cannot open them in Win, unless you have some special software like EMXP (freeware, http://www.emxp.net), Translator (ChickenSystems), Extr. Sample Converter, etc...

Alternatively, you can import the content from E-mu EIII CDs into modern soft.samplers running on Win, like Halion, Kontakt, Giga etc...
