I stole this pic from WHO's thread- sure he won't mind- Anyway, does anyone know what that panel connector is actually called, or even better, has anyone replaced it with something a little less obnoxious? sfbaytech, dr.c?

I am glad you borrowed.  I needed to ask the same question.  (I still haven't fixed it.)

It looks like it's called an "IDC Transition Connector", like this:

or this:

Maybe also known as a "Wire-to-board" connector.

Hope that helps.

Has anyone actually found a specific suitable replacement?  I've been looking, and it seems like finding 4 row, 60 way connectors is a little tricky.
