Hi,

after years of annoying sliders I decided to replace them now. If you want to fit new ones too, but unsure which parts you require then this might help you:

I use these:
Europe (Germany in German): http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/702053/Schiebe-Potentiometer-F4505N-Single-Type-10-k-01-W-20-/SHOP_AREA_17440&promotionareaSearchDetail=005

Europe (Germany, in English): http://www.conrad.com/ce/en/product/702053/?insert=62&insertNoDeeplink&productname=F4505N-K-Slide-Potentiometer-45mmmm

North America (US): http://de.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Bourns/PTA4543-2010CIB103/?qs=/ha2pyFadujSraAoS63NIyie0KhQnY1D1JPS9OnlkM2DBT/PcrARBQ==       Tested and confirmed by Mr Kirk from the facebook group.

Slider Potentiometers are very simple mechanical components that's why you can find them everywhere.
Important Specifications: 10 kohm, Sliding distance 45mm

It is definitely worth it if yours works inaccurately. If you've eventuelly opened the Emax and removed the boards then you could also clean the rubber contacts and fit a new display. But keep in mind that some basic solder skills are required and don't forget to ground yourself before opening the Emax...
