Thanks guys !!! I'm not done quite yet, I'm getting Jesse Dean from Jesse Dean Designs in California to make some custom clear mod an pitch wheels and light them up yellow green to match the screen I might just have to find some matching LEDs in place of the red LEDs

Anyone see my question I posted re replacing the floppy with a SCSI card reader ? I posted the link in the question of one that doesn't need anything except the card reader cause it's already SCSI an reads a few diff cards

BTW. i just received an EIII for restoration. Same as yours - nothing works, dust til dawn, all buttons dead, display dead, 60'ribbon cable and connector destroyed, no SCSI, drilled holes everywhere. And Hey guess wot - the Floppy works - hahaaaa  Cheesy

I am now on 50% towards sunlight Smiley

Let me know if you want the ribbon cable w assembly attached, I purchased the last one from Digikey a while back.
