I had this issue come up again and began to wonder if this can be tied to a failing component.  Below are the keys that exhibit the whine when pressed:

D1, C2, C#2, D2, A2, G3, G#3, A3, G4, G#4, A4,

Here's a screenshot of bitwig using its spectrum analyzer to identify the pitch:
