Hello !
Did anybody already replace old display of EMU III XP (rack) by a brand new OLED display ?
Basically I ordered one on eBay (Newhaven brand) that "should" fit perfectly on my beloved sampler. Any instructions (soldering, pins etc..) about the right way to do it would be welcome !!

hi i used a vishay oled display and installed it last month.

you need to remove screws, then the pins at the header as well as two further connections for anode/cathode and then it lifts away.

i got myself another pin header to solder on to the new OLED board, then on to the EMU EIIIXP Panel board as i knew it would be a cleaner job that way.  I had to snip the pins to shorter lengths.

I also removed the inverter from the main board.

Let me know if you need any assistance

its the same, standard 14pin interface

As long as you have the oled you do not use the A/K
