hi

my dataslider went crazy. It works the most time but now very often values are jumping to the current slider position.

Is there a common standard part available for replacement? Or is it a "special" one?

My old diva has also other "parttime" problems.
Loosing a voice, then i put all conecters and pcb's out and back in - then it works again.
Any ideas to fix this "sporty activities" for a longer period?

I've also got the jumping data slider problem. Most of the times it gets away when I clean the slider. But it always comes back at one point. It isn't really a problem for me since it only happens when the slider is not in use.

Any slider of the same value (be carefull thet the points are at the same place (cursor, etc) and law must be A (Linear).

(Sorry, there was a link wich had nothing to do here)

My old diva has also other "parttime" problems.

What does it mean ?

Change the flat cables if you mean these cables, stop messing around,

Thanks for the answers!

"Parttime" problems means the machine works after reconnecting very well for a few weeks, then the same problems will appear again and again!

There seems nothing damaged or really defect.

I had this problem with my Emax II for a while. Temp solution was to recalibrate the data range to the stable part of the slider. Not a great solution, but, it worked well enough.

I ended just buying a slider from EPR electronics along with some other parts I needed for various things. Replaced the slider and she is as good as new.
