One thing I notice, is that originally the card cage's had a centre support bar for the boards.  These are both missing on both my machines.  The boards have a definite bow in them, from years I guess of no support.  Should I fabricate a support to put in there now, or let sleeping dogs lie....?  I don't want to break some multilayer trace on the boards...
