I'm considering replacing my internal scsi cable  ( i believe its 60 pin? anyone know what type of cable this is exactly?

It's a standard fast scsi flat ribbon cable, 50 pin.  Available lots of places.  Scsi4samplers will make one with your specified length and number of connectors if you ask.
