Title: PSU help.
Post by: 12bit on November 26, 2012, 02:58:29 PM
Hey everyone.

Could anyone with an Emulator I and a decent digital camera take a few pics of the 10 voltage regulator on the PSU ? You know the 10 regulators that are attached/soldered to the heatsink. Also I am VERY interested in knowing if yours are touching the heatsink or if they are lifted from it somehow.

I am really interested in knowing their position and their values as well.

If anyone could help me with this I will be forever in their debt.

I am talking about these if you're not sure what I mean:

Hi!

I'll try to take a picture of mine - though I can't promise when I have time for it (my EI is stored, not set up...).

Best, Elm.

Here are photos of mine. I replaced all my regulators because the originals were very oxidized from the moisture that mine was exposed to. I have not powered it up yet.

Doublecheck yours in case your PSU was modified. Not sure if there were updates done to the PSU's. My Emulator is #81. The PSU is marked 92.

Hope this helps.
