Title: Emulator II Scanner Test Disk Image
Post by: biric on July 11, 2013, 12:07:45 AM
Hi

New here, so please forgive any possible mishaps..

Me and a friend of mine are repairing our EII, actually making good progress at it. After some small explosions, smoke and fire episodes in the beginning we sort of brought it back to life.

(Had to replace PSU, some tantalum capacitors, some IC's and memory chips. Remove its floppies and install a HXC SD floppy emulator).

The thing now boots and is stable. We can sample. We can playback (even though voice one (0) seems to have some filter-not-opening- issue). Memory test runs end in  'Memory is good'.

However, it seems to have some additional issues. Paying back from keyboard occasionally results in arbitrary (?) transpositions of the note (usually too high) and occasionally the sample loops just pause after some time.

To cut the story short: we are looking for disk image of the EII - test disks, especially the Scanner Test Disk to help us find out what's still wrong with the b..east.

As mentioned, we had to remove the floppies (at least for the moment), so we are looking for disk images.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
