Wanted to sell it and next day i turned it on....

HD is invisible... Wanna read os from Floppy and then stop!!!! dont see had and dont wanna load disks!! (readed os from disk)

DISK TYPE ERROR!!!  Shocked

ANYBODY HERE KNOW WHAT IS WRONG
or should I remove all that HD things inside... after unpluging HD eII acts same /

what to check !!!!

I was working on my EII+ HD and got a similar error, all I did was opened it up and reseated all the HD related cables along with the small SCSI board located by the Mix Output. Then it worked. Do you hear your hard drive spinning up and being accessed?

Also HD is giving me some blinking !!!

But why it doesnot load diskette ??

ok

managed to load system from disk BUT!!!

For HD Disk 2 it cant find it

for disk 1 load ..it have message diskformat error and from that disk it loaded system  Shocked

It sounds exactly like what happened to me last year with my HD. I erased the software on the HD and after that the system just would not see it.
Do you have the HD OS on floppy? It has to be the specific one in order for the system to recognize the drive. Out of the 300+ floppies I have, only ONE would do it. If I recall, it was the oldest OS version. Think it was 1.01 or something.
I am guessing the OS got corrupted somehow and now it won't see the HD.

ok .... i managed finally to get HD spin !!!

looks like HD is blank Sad

when i turn on EII+HD it start HD as turbo engine......
after some time i got message

MiniS HD 2.6

and than it load system from DISKETTE ...
looks like EII works .. sampling, vcf.....

problem is damn HD!!!

.... @ midipuppies ... hey dude .. can you make a copy of that disk please!!! Smiley

SHOULD I REMOVE HD AND CONTROLLER FROM EII and do reverse work and have second EII+.. without HD???

REMOVED HD KIT FROM EII

today i replaced eproms from 2.5HD to 2.1+

now will how this works!!!

BTW .. need to work over EII display first while EMU is open!
