Is your machine booting without a diskette ?

If your EIII boots from it's HD, than copy it's OS to a floppy. Important to understand: All the "Trimdata" is included. When you get a copy from another EIII, the "Trimdata" is not correct for your EIII and it needs to be recalibrated.
