Title: LFO Delay - not doing anything
Post by: punkdisco on June 25, 2014, 12:59:57 AM
Hi all – I cant get my LFO Delay to make any difference.  I have set the LFO to something very audible (->VCA max) then turn the delay to max but, do difference.  The LFO still engages instantly on key press.

Are there some hidden considerations with LFO Delay?  It seems pretty simple to understand to me.

Could mine be faulty?  Everything else is my EII+HD (3.10) is 100%.

Many thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

I have an EII (non-HD) and when set to 99, LFO delay results in a one to one and a half second of delay.  That said, I've always found the delay to be subtle.

Hope that helps :)

Hi Who - Thanks for the reply.

I got it working but it feels like there is a bug.

I have to do this:

1) setup a very obvious LFO modulation with Delay set to 99 (delay has no affect as LFO mods instantly)
2) Go into Real Time Control and set Right Wheel to Filter (2-2)

The delay now starts working!!!!

I can then go back and set the Right Wheel to whatever and it all works fine but, until I do this, the Delay defo has no effect.

I forgot to save the patch to see if it saves/recalls okay.  I will try this tomorrow.

Anyway, its good that it is working..

ta,

Paul
