Does anyone know if this drive would work in an EII? http://floppydisk.com/internal.htm Or can anyone suggest further diagnostics when the LED just reads "Insert Diskette" even though both drives sound like they are spinning? I have tried many many different boot disks, I am pretty confident that it is not a disk issue. thx. Try to find out if it is the 475-2. He was saying he hasn't had success with the 3-4-5, etc.
There is a certain jumper setting that is required to get it to work. Did you read through the Diagnostics manual pdf? Not sure about other variants of this drive. It' has an extra chip installed that is not included on other drives.
