Title: Source for output jacks?
Post by: sys700 on April 05, 2011, 07:34:45 PM
Just bought a rack mount EIII on eBay and the stereo/mono jack got squashed in shipping. :-( anyone have a spare output jack lying around I could buy? Or know a source for one? The machine obviously took a hit in shipping because the LCD is dark with all lights on front lit up. A shame because its a very clean machine. I got it to boot a couple times but the stereo outs don't work properly, only individual outs. Any thoughts?

Oh, and it won't recognize my SCSI ZIP drive. This one has been modded with an extra (large) SCSI jack on the back.

Did you try the EIIIR with another SCSI device..? CD-ROM, MO drive...

I did, but the device in question didn't work with my EIII keyboard either, so it's probably of no help.

The output jacks can be found here:

Mine's broken too. The nut was probably too tight and it snapped due to the pressure.
