Title: Replacing 3.5" drive in an EIII with a ZIP drive
Post by: sys700 on April 13, 2011, 09:23:39 AM
Is it possible to easily swap out the 3.5" drive in an EIII with a ZIP drive? If so, is it a SCSI ZIP that needs to be used?

Anyone have any info on which ZIP drive could be used in this spot? Would I need an internal SCSI drive, daisy-chained to the hard disc? If so, did internal SCSI drives come in black?

Yeah you can but it won't boot off of it . Your better off buying a scsi cf reader/ Writer from JD Tell him Rome sent you http://scsicardreaders.com/ Yes you'll need to daisy chain off the internal hard drive
