Title: Would it be ok to rack two EIIIX's on top of one another?
Post by: viszla-ator on May 07, 2009, 03:52:24 PM
I notice they have a lot of heating vents on the top of the rack.  Wondering if I can rack them on top of one another or do I need to have some space.  I am not remembering them getting that hot.  Just getting around to racking them after a couple years with them.

Maybe, if you do'nt remember they were getting hot, its just because they were not on top of each other, uh ? ;)

Ha ha -- I guess you have a point there!  I ended up racking them with about a half inch between them.  Keep your fingers crossed.

Good idea - I think I actually have one in a box somewhere.   Also I could put a Rack Shelf between them -- a handy place to put CD's. Or snacks!
