Title: E-mu Emax SE Plus out of tune
Post by: seamonkey on November 06, 2011, 10:48:49 AM
ok, maybe I'm missing something and it's an easy fix but my Emax SE is out of tune.
I just got it back a couple of weeks ago and have been just jamming with it alone, going through presets, until my zip drive died on me.
Just got a new one and loaded up some banks, thought I would try playing in live with my VFX. Well it's quite out of tune when I hit let's say a C note. I tried adjusting the semi tone in the Master but it wouldn't go high or low enough to match middle C. I checked my VFX against a piano in Cubase and it was right on tune. Also it played perfectly with my EII.
Any ideas what it could be?

I hope it's something terribly simple and finding out will make feel very stupid. ;D

Thanks guys..I recalibrated the pitch wheel and reset the pitch when it's in center position. Works great now.
Thanks again.:)
