Title: EII Label and Tone Wheel reproduction Group Buy Post by: E55 Kompressor on October 02, 2013, 12:57:57 AM Most of you that are on the EII Yahoo Group are aware that I am having the Emulator II faceplate and tone wheel labels reproduced in Lexan. Which is the original material of the real EII label.
For years there have been always someone coming and going through these forums who have stated that they are going to make the labels. And usually it's a story that a roomate's friend's brother's cousin knows a guy who can do it. And they are going to go to their local Kinkos or print shop and make them out of decal paper and print them on their home printer from a cracked copy of Corel Draw. I got tired of reading this for years and finally decided to have them made professionally once in for all. The project is well under way. The EII and tone wheel labels are being mocked up from new old stock EII labels that were never put on an EII. A very talented graphic artist here in the USA has duplicated the vector art and the colors are being Pantone matched now. Extreme attention to detail has been made on these reproductions. I am only having 25 labels done at this time. I was able to find a Lexan shop in the USA that would do a small run of labels and usually they only do them in 500 to 5000 minimum. So there are 7 more pre-orders left out of the 25 for the EII faceplate labels and 19 more tone wheel labels left to pre-purchase. Eighteen EII faceplate labels have already been paid for. I have locked in the price of $75 plus shipping for the EII faceplate label and $35 for the small tone wheel label. So $110 a set for both labels plus shipping. Which is pretty cheap for a full blown reproduction of this caliber. I will ship worldwide. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v13/monolism/EIIlabelshipping3_zps35ea7375.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v13/monolism/EIIlabelshipping1_zpse6e1e3fa.jpg PM me if you are interested. Don't sleep on these because they are going fast. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v13/monolism/EII_label_zps048764fb.jpg Of course the finished product will have the button and LED's holes cut and Paul is finalizing the die cut now for the round and squre momentary button holes. Also, the clear LCD window will be integrated just like the original. On the original EII label there is the Lexan and a different material for the LCD window. The labels are going to be made in a velvet matte Lexan and the LCD window will be a clear acetate just like the original. A lot of time and careful planing went into these labels. Only 7 left and 18 tone wheel labels left. I just bought an E-MU Emulator II this weekend. The Decals are in rough shape and that is putting it politely. I would love New decals for both the Tone Wheel and faceplate. Thanks, Danny Title: Re: EII Label and Tone Wheel reproduction Group Buy Post by: E55 Kompressor on December 04, 2013, 11:05:43 AM I sent you a PM for order details and payment instructions.
