You need tha UST diskette (Universal Sound Test), and eventually an oscilloscope, this would be great. Still, you may calibrate without the scope, but it won't be "that" accurate. Thanks for helping me out thus far! I will see if I can figure out a way to get a floppy drive onto my PC. I have a PC that runs Windows XP right now so I could make this work! I don't have an oscillioscope but used some acurrate metering application (Smaart Live) and my ears. Worked great! Maybe not perect, but I was starting from zero trims (new CF HD). If you want I can send you scans of the relevant pages from the service manual.

The auto-trim did well enough for me the first time around so I didn't go much farther than that. Not having a test signal generator, it took me a while to get a signal measured out to 2.82v p-p but I did it!
