When powering on my EIIIrack the midi input doesn't work the first 5 to 7 minutes. After that timeframe the midi kicks in. The PSU has been replaced a year ago so that shouldn't be the problem. Could it be some capacitor that needs to load or warm up before working? Do you know what to look for? I pulled out the midi card and pulled out the IC's to give them a good brush and clean. This looks like it solved the problem. Since then I have booted up the EIIIR five times without any midi incidents. Best regards Brian |
