Title: RaScsi in EIII?
Post by: njosnari on February 21, 2023, 05:10:36 AM
I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck getting a RaScsi/PiScsi working in an EIII's internal scsi bus?

I dont know RASCI but I buy a ZULU SCSI on SAMPLER ZONE one week before : INSANE ! Very useful. Plug and play : acess to 7 SCSI Partitions at the same from a SD CARD, easy for mount img or iso on it... INSANE ..and so CHEAP.

Yes.   We have gotten our own PiSCSI version to work. (based on a custom redesign of the original RaSCSI)

If you have original CD's and / or ISO's  or .IMG of Eiii hard drives, you can set the PiSCSI up to work with the Eiii.  The Web-interface also works wonderful.

However.  If you have CD or Hard drive images in the EMXP format, you might have problems!

This is the issue that I am currently trying to figure out, as I have a large number of CD images that were made with EMXP.  Presently, EMXP does not provide a way to export these images as a standard .ISO, or .IMG.

This is also the same issue with the ZULU SCSI devices.  I hope E-Synthesist will chime and, and maybe have a solution for the community!!
