Title: Booting from floppy questions Post by: Malekko on November 15, 2009, 03:02:44 PM Hey Guys
I have an EIII OS 2.30 firmware 1.0 and i'm trying to troubleshoot. I have an OS disk 2.42 that i want to boot to. I thought if you have a floppy disk it would just boot to disk but it doesnt. I went into disk utilities and did a "copy software from FD and it gives me "FD DATA LOST ERROR" I tried a different drive, swapped out my ribbon cable i know my WD1772 is good. Anyone know what the heck i am doing wrong. Thanks Josh Title: Re: Booting from floppy questions Post by: Malekko on November 15, 2009, 05:27:32 PM also i grabbed a DD disk and formatted it...
then i tried to save a bank to it and it gave me a FD DATA SAVE ERROR Title: Re: Booting from floppy questions Post by: dr.c on November 17, 2009, 10:16:50 AM Are they 96 TPI floppies, double side, double density ?
