Title: Trouble installing SD on mac SE Post by: midipuppies on December 02, 2009, 11:06:15 AM I finally got a copy of SD on floppy. When I try to install it on my Mace SE, it almost completes and then comes up with a fatal error every time.

Title: Re: Trouble installing SD on mac SE Post by: midipuppies on December 03, 2009, 08:37:01 AM Yeah, if I try to run it or copy it to any location it starts to load for about 10 seconds, the screen starts to build and just when it looks as if it is fully load, it comes up with an error that says "illegal instruction. Restart"
I have tried a bunch of things like deleting all of the startup programs from memory and the like. Could it be bad software? Does anyone have a good copy for me to try? Because that one works for sure...

Title: Re: Trouble installing SD on mac SE Post by: Elmbeatz on December 04, 2009, 02:54:30 AM exactly. go get a macbook somewhere from a buddy of yours or something, then download the SD app to a SE(!)-formatted zip disk (-drive) connected via USB to the macbook. then copy the SD app to your MacSE via a scsi zip drive. That's how I did it, worked fine.
