Title: voice down. hints on pcb. Post by: potscrubber on December 25, 2010, 02:57:45 PM Hi there
I have one voice down (common I know) - just silence. It's not the ABCD cables, or the relays, have confirmed that. Looking at the board for that voice, I can see someone has been there before me trying to fix it. 3 chips have a white dot on them (CEM3387, PCM53JP-1, M8724). What do you think this might mean? "I replaced those" "those are ok" ?? Any body else brought back a silent voice? What was it? (don't talk about the cables, I eliminated those...) pot. Has the faulty channel "moved" ? (From channel 1 to channel 9 for example) ?
This is the first thing to do, the flat cables ABCD are most of the time not relevant in this case. |
