It's better to watch the whole thing, but right at 4:40 is the best part.  :)

Yes, by the way the whole Live In Hamburg concert of DM is great stuff for EII fans.
I've got the full VHS (!) video - they even use an Emulator-I
Very good concert.

Yes, man , that´s right.  I´ve been there in ´84 in Hamburg. Since that day i´m totally fixed by the original e-mu sound.

But a little bit more E II action you have on the "shout" snippet!

And i love the beginning of "if you want" a very great E II sound masterpiece, i think.

Dont underestimate Fletcher. He is after all the mastermind behind the whole DM business. Who cares if he playes less than the others. If he left then there would be no DM. A duo with Gore and Gahan? Not anything to last at all

Is this the same "Mastermind" who enjoyed such great success with his Toast Hawaii record label?...

BTW I have a very good digital copy of this Hamburg concert if anyone would like.. Swapsies?..
It would appear that Mute have no intention of releasing it on DVD..

Yes - some (arco?)strings on "new life", also on "shame" and "see you".
Probably a factory piano on "somebody".

I have the Hamburg concert in... Laserdisc format which was a analog/digital video format way before dvd. Discs are like huge plated vynils. I guess 12". Sadly my laserdisc player stopped working.
