Title: Single hard drive divided into partitions - each with it's own SCSI ID?
Post by: toader on December 02, 2011, 09:14:15 AM
Is it possible to have a single hard drive - maybe 8 gb or so divided into 8 seperate partitions, each assigned to it's own SCSI ID?  This way, I could load banks from 8gb worth of material all on a single drive without plugging in or removing anything...

I wish there was a way to put a huge hard drive on the EIII so it could access my entire library from a single drive.

That won't be possible. SCSI IDs are defined by the hardware interface to which the hard drive is connected.

I kind of figured that...  Oh well.  Not a big deal - just thinking outside the box about possibilities.
