Title: voltage conversion - can you tell me what's to be done?
Post by: Elmbeatz on October 18, 2012, 09:02:59 AM
Most of the old E-Mu gear has a voltage selector for use of either 110V or 220V.

The drumulator doesn't feature such a selector.

What's got to be done to run an "american" drumulator in Europe?
Can somebody give me a dummy description?

Greetz,
Elm.

Although I don't have a Drumulator, according to the manual and service manual there *should* be a switch for selecting between 110V and 230V.
But this switch is not located on the backside.
You have to open the Drumulator and change the switch on the PSU internally.
The switch is called SW2 in the service manual, and located near the ON/OFF switch according to the owner's manual...
