Title: EIII or Emax? One's gotta go!
Post by: 80sboy on March 07, 2013, 09:00:02 PM
I have an EII+, an Emax SE rack, and an EIII keyboard 8mb. I have too many keys in general and was thinking about replacing the EIII with an SQ-80 for my controller, I love the poly aftertouch. After playing with the EIII and comparing the same samples with the Emax, I'm really torn! I don't know what it is, but there is definitely a difference. I'm working on some Ambient pieces, and the sound quality of the EIII is just amazing.

I'm thinking the EII and Emax are more similar, I'll never get rid of my EII, just trying to decide as to which one to sell. What do people think about the EIII compared to the Emax? It's not a HUGE difference, but there's definitely more "space" in the sound quality....

What to do what to do.....

Let the Emax go. The are easily replaced should you decide to get another.
