Title: Files required on SD card for HXC Operation
Post by: Elmbeatz on March 04, 2014, 08:48:55 AM
Hi freaks!

Could someone sum up what files (besides any soundbanks in *.em1 format) are required on the SD card to fire the Emax up via HxC Floppy Emulator?
Is the OS (*.emx) required besides the HxC config file?

Thanks in advance,

Elm.

You need to convert the Emax disk images into .hfe files for the HxC to read them. Read up on the HxC software to see how. eSynthesist has a greatly detailed instructions on how to run the HxC with the EI and EII - read it as well. It's the same principle.

EM1 = Disk image
EB1 = Only a bank

So you need to generate an EM1 from the EB1 with emxp.

(The info above was taken from: http://torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1143 )

So I think you need to make a disk image from the bank info in EMXP and them convert it with HxC software.
