Title: Northstar.....
Post by: PX-7 on June 14, 2010, 12:27:38 PM
Has anyone tried ordering any samples from Northstar lately?
He doesn't respond to email or voicemails.

Who else is actively selling EII samples right now on floppies?

Yes, I purchased an Emax sample disk from Northstar in mid-May. It did take them a while to get back to me, though. I think I called them a couple times a week for three weeks before anyone returned my calls. But once I got them on the phone, the order shipped promptly. I also had some technical issues with the disk at first, and they were incredibly helpful with troubleshooting. Nice guys.

I don't believe any other company is still selling Emulator II banks on floppy disks.

did a quick google search and found this:
http://www.emulatorii.com (http://www.emulatorii.com)

They seem to be selling disks... looks like the site just started ( not many disks available yet) but at least whoever it is is using good floppy disks!

He actually called this weekend.  2 months later.   Another Route 66?
