Title: 5.25 floppy drive

somone knows where i can find a 5.25 floppy drive for my eii? i need it to replace my that is broken.   :'(

Perhaps you could wait a little bit until the HxC SD Card emulator will be shipped, which (hopefully) can servce as a replacement for the 5.25 drive.
Should be this or next month. Beta tests for EII compatibility are still ongoing, but I assume these guys will succeed !
Then you'll have two options:
- either you can buy this SD Card device for the EII
- or you will probably be able to buy much easier a secondhand 5.25 drive from someone who replaced the 5.25 drive by the SD card device...

Do you REALLY think anyone would sell his EII disk drive, even if it's not that much in use any longer?
(I'm not going to .. )

my 1st drive has just stopped working it was working fine last week now its stopped!  is there a replacement drive 5.25 out there?

not sure if anyone can help.. but my 1st Drive the Red LED comes on but you dont get the chugging sound as it reads the disk?

could it just be a clean?

Try reconnecting it, and all molex connectors.
