Hello, which firmware version is your EIII? I think I remember that the original EIII firmware was incompatible with the 8mb upgrade kit.

Hey all,
Does anyone want to buy a few hundred EII performance disks - on floppies (a mix of 5.25 and 3.5 inch disks)?
The library is a mixture of the E-mu EII factory library, and lots of odds and ends (custom libraries, Universe of Sounds).
I have a spare 3.5 inch disk drive with adapter cable, if someone needs that to 'upgrade' their 5.25 drive.
Just checking to see if there's any interest for these (for any floppy drive and non-HxC users!).

Awesome! I'm setting up a pair of EII+HD now with DREM (first one down, second arrives next week) and will move on to the EIII and then the EI that have been collecting dust... if anyone needs help with vintage macs or powerbooks for their Emulator needs, please reach out as I have those pieces dialed in and can share.

Yes, I`ve bought a powerbook 165c for a very reasonable price, replaced HDD with SCSI2SD 5.5 and it works perfectly. I`ve installed macos 7.1 and it runs Sound Designer for EII, Sound Designer for Emax, Alchemy 2.51, Turbosynth and E3 remote - everything I need for my E-mu samplers.

I did - I`ve cleaned FDD and HDD cables contacts, pulled out and back the ROM`s and it works now )

I have all the samples from David Bascombe library (he sold it with his EII on ebay), some of them were used for TFF and some for the DM "Music for the masses"...
