3.5" drives

I was wondering whether anyone has tried any of these drives with successful results?

Please make some recommendations based on experience.

Does anyone know what drive route66studios provide with their kit?

I would also like to know whether an adapter ribbon cable is needed or is the ribbon cable to the original 5.25" floppy compatible???

I am a tech! So it was easy for me to do! i used the Teac 3.5 drive
And i did this on my e11 and for a customer of mine and it worked flawlessly!
I also put in a switch to toggle between drives 1 and 2 so i can copy both ways!
I used a cheep drive bay that i had lying around! its gray but i didn't much care!
you can get black ones!
also be sure the power is correct! some bays come with a plug that can have the power reversed!
It can damage a drive! so Caution! and you need a ribbon cable that is standard on old PC's with the 5.25 drives
or as i did i got a ribbon cable end and crimped it on the existing floppy cable.

But the bay from rout66 will be a no brainer and i am sure set up perfectly!

I have just purchased a EII+ with two 5.25 floppy drives and was wondering where could I get a teac 3.25 drive that would work with it. I would like to see if there is one a little cheaper than the one over at route 66 before I but one from them.

Can you explain how you installed the switch to copy both ways? I'd like to do that to mine.

the 3.5" drive from DPX-1 works

maybe a lot of drives which are able to switch to DS0
