Hi,

I don't understand this company. Are they dead or not, that's the simple question?

There are no new news for years and I remember they wanted to release a new product in order to celebrate their 30th anniversary, but unfortunately nothing happened, not to mention their 'dead' website.

Maybe there are E-mu employees around who could shed light on the current situation and what they're planning..

Maybe some guys among you know more...

Dave Rossum himself told me that E-mu is actually dead. The E-mu employees are all working for different companies now:

..." A number of us have
discussed resurrecting E-mu, but the economics and logistics haven't yet
come together in a way to make it feasible. Of course Creative owns the
name E-mu, so we'd have to call ourselves something else.
