Does anyone have any documentation to share regarding the Trimming / Calibration procedures for the Filter? I'm assuming it has something to do with the Special Disk option 13: Trim Channels. Not sure what the following means though:

"161616161616
 161616161616"

I also am led to believe this has something to do with a "Universal Sound Test Disk." Surprised this documentation is nowhere to be found in either the EII owner's or the service manuals. All i'm finding is something for the Emax: http://www.cyborgstudio.com/samplersmp3s/emu/emax/manual/emaxdiagnostics.pdf

THIS is a pain in the ass, a real piss.

The calibration has to be performed within the first three minutes, while the machine is still cold. After then, its useless.
I have NEVER done, in fifteen times I've been the E-Mu service manager in France, not even a single time any calibration.
The point is that the calibration datas are in the software when you boot the machine, and hence, this means that every machine has its own software diskettes. This means as well that when there was a software upgrade, the machines needed to be recalibrated. Imagine...
I have tried to have it done if front of me by guys like Kevin Monahan or Tim Schwartz, the techs from E-Mu, no way, they never showed me, for a very suimple reason : its unexploitable.

Is your machine working ? In this case, if it works, don't fix it.
