No midi output ??!!

Hello

as i was trying to use the new remote soft, i found that my EIII kb 8meg
isn't outputting midi.
I think i've tried all the relevant settings, but before i start
disassembly and such  i thought i'd ask here for any advice.
Have anyone had the same problem ?
Midi in works fine.
Can it be a case of a problem with the software booting ?
right now i'm booting off
the internal CF-card.
( and all my floppies are somewhere in the messy attic... )

Hi Kim,

I would open up your EIII and re-seat the 50-pin cable that goes from the CPU board to the Digital output board (which includes the external SCSI port, RS422 and MIDI ports).
