SCSI Media Error

Hello,

I am new here ;-) Perhaps this questions is answered many times already.

I am using a EIII XS with a external 88MB Syquest Media.
After NOT using the stuff for a while I tried to read my old files from Syquest.

Somehow the drive is recognized but I can´t access the drive or load files.

Tried to format the disk ended up in SCSI MEDIA ERROR.

I exchanged the drive into a new housing, change to a CD ROM and switched cables and terminators.

Is there any workaround to check the EMUS´s SCSI BUS function at all? Internal Test? Startup short key?

I am happy to get a feedback on this.
