Hello all together,

when running the memory test, i get

Err BnkA  60010

Data: 09   S/B: 01

which leads to IC 26 on the memory option board.

swapping rams (even the complete segment) did not hav any effect - afterwards i got the same error code.

So i resoldered the IC sockets of the whole segment and the capacitors.

But unfotunately still the same error code.  Angry

Does anyone of you have an idea waht else might cause this malfunction?

Best regards

ned

According to me this leads to IC 24, not IC 26, but if you have swapped all ICs in that segment, this actually doesn't really matter  Wink
Do you have a problem in reality also, I mean, do you hear glitches in the sound ?
(I assume you have a basic 512K EII, right ? Should be... because you have a memory option board... but I'm asking anyway)

yes, it had bad effects of the sound.

Now i´ve exchanged the ics of the whole two last segments with new ones and...

finally it works!!!  Grin Grin

Thank you for your help anyway Smiley

But please tell me: how do you get to ic 24 interpreting the error code?

Best regards

Great to hear it works now !

I think it was IC24 because the error message from the Memory Test says:
- Address = 60010
- Wrong bit = bit 3 (09 should be 01, so 00001001 should be 00000001, which means bit 3 is different, taking into account that counting starts with 0 at right side of bit representation)

The memory segment table says that address 60010 is located in the IC range Memory Board IC20-27.
The schemas show that the third bit data line is at IC24 (the one with the MD0B3.D signal)
