Hi,

i'm thinking about selling my Emulator II
i bought it in 1993 for my studio, simply because i like the sound.
our EIII and Emax II Turbo were great production maschines, but the EII brought some character to the music.

i still love the maschine, but it's sad -  i dont use it anymore.

it looks great for it's age. there are no scratches at all !
it works and plays really good.
( i think i have about 60-70 discs which are still working)
within the last 3-4 years it was stored in an massive amptown flightcase.

before i bought the EII from "chateau du pape" studio owner frank pape it was used by conny plank at conny plank studios.
conny plank was the first owner, but after his death in 1987 it was sold to pape in hamburg.
i got it just a few week after depeche mode did some overdubs and the mix of "sofad" at "chateau du pape" in hamburg.
if i remember correct, alan wilder, flood and andy franks signed the EII on the bottom.
franks was depeche modes tourmanager at the time.

so...keep it, or not ?

can you give me some information on actual prices ?
how much does a working  EII cost ?

is someone interested ?

i live in frankfurt am main / germany btw.

best wishes,
marc

this site is very useful when you're checking prices.
there are hundreds of vintage synths and samplers with links to eBay auctions.
you can go back to eBay auctions from january 2011.

http://www.synthfind.com/category/emu/emulator-ii/

a working EII brings something between € 900 and €1600....which is not bad.

the one i own ist amazing, looks good and works really well.
it also comes with a german ( ! ) emulator II manual.
and a VERY massive amptown flightcase ( 60kg) is included.

feel free to make offers.
something around the €1450 pricetag is reasonable.

i can provide pictures as soon as i'm back in ffm.

have a nice weekend - you emu addicts...

Hi nice pic, nice EII.

the ulyssis apex stand is a bit nasty cause the ouput of the emulator is just in the middle. you need a L-hook jack.
