Question:

IF there will be a Floppy drive Emulation device for the EII - will it work with rev.0 boards (RS 232 instead of 422)? Has that anything to do with the drive emulation?

Elm.

I'm not sure if I'm the right person to answer your question but...

The floppy drive emulator is supposed to be connected to the floppy disk interface and that means it should work with any revision board. It does not have anything to do with RS 232/422 interface.
As far as I know anyway.
